Giant Pandas Upright Ring Teapot
13" tall x 13" wide x 4" deep
With this teapot I varied the
volume of the ring cross-section, making the hollow ring cross-section
larger and the interior of the upright ring opening smaller. The
giant panda mother figure fills most of the inside of the ring,
while the baby panda figure sits perched on the lid like the African
elephants and south American Jaguars upright ring teapots. I glazed
the teapot in a tan matt glaze with glossy green imprinted bars
to suggest the bamboo fronds that are the giant panda’s only
food source.
