Dark Green Rectangular Cross-Section Reassembled Ring Teapot

When I began making reassembled hollow ring teapots, my original idea was to put the ring back together with the cut-apart sections joined end to end out of order. With this teapot I was having trouble keeping the joint in the lower right of the slide from twisting apart, so I cut the two ends more deeply and interlocked them. I also posed the teapot on the table in a tripod stance without adding an oval base. These innovations began to free my creative ideas to make more interesting sculptural forms.
