Teapots: Object To Subject, Touring 1/28/2007 through 1/7/2010 by ExhibitsUSA, a division of Mid-America Arts Alliance.

My Mint Green Sharp Edges Reassembled Ring Teapot and my King Penguins Upright Ring Teapot are included in this exhibition, a 3-year traveling exhibit of 45 teapots, many of which were first displayed in the 2004 St. Louis, Missouri Craft Alliance Gallery?fs exhibition, Teapots: Object to Subject, curated by Leslie Ferrin.

This current exhibition will be on display in various venues until January 7, 2010, such as:  The Forbes Gallery, New York City;  Museum of Texas Tech University, Lubbock Texas;  Brownsville Museum of Fine Art, Brownsville, Texas;   Museum of Seminole County History, Sanford, Florida;  Kimball Art Center, Park City, Utah; Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio; and California State University Dominguez Hills Art Museum, Carson, California.  Other Venue Sites are still in negotiation.

Lemon Yellow Reassembled Teapot The Diane and Sandy Besser Collection at the de Young Museum, October 26, 2007 to January 13, 2008. San Francisco, California.

My Lemon Yellow Triangular Cross-Section Reassembled Ring Teapot ?is included in the upcoming exhibition: "The Diane and Sandy Besser Collection at the de Young Museum."

Renowned Santa Fe collector Sandy Besser has assembled an extraordinary array of objects in almost every conceivable medium. This exhibition features a selection of his finest objects, drawn from three major collection areas:  

1.  An array of contemporary teapots documents the persistence and vitality of this ancient form, which has been revitalized by artists associated with the studio crafts movement.  

2.  Featured csontemporary drawings include works by established artists, such as Roy de Forest and Enrique Chagoya, as well as emerging artists, whose works incorporate figuration, narrative content, and neo-surrealist imagery.  

3.  A selection of 20th-century African beadwork represents the evolution of traditional art forms into a contemporary medium with representations from the Pende, Yoruba, and Kuba societies.  

All of the featured works are current or future gifts to the Fine Arts Museums.

The First Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, January 23 to June 13, 2004. Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum, Taipei, Taiwan.

My "Purple Foamy Whitecaps Reassembled Ring Teapot" was chosen for the First Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, an exhibition of 125 fired clay artworks selected from entries submitted by 692 ceramic artists from 47 countries around the world.

The international jurors for this competition were Peter Lane, Alresford, England; Monika Gass, Berlin, Germany; Enomoto Toru, Gifu, Japan; and Elaine Olafson Henry, Emporia, Kansas, USA. Jurors from Taiwan were Winnie Yang; Huan-Tang Chiu; and Chen-Chou Liou.

First World Ceramic Biennale 2001 Korea International Competition
"Lemon Yellow Triangular Cross-Section Reassembled Hollow Ring Teapot"
On display from August 10 to October 28, 2001, at the Ichon Ceramic Center, Ichon, Korea, this competition consisted of 305 fired clay artworks selected from 4206 entries and submitted by 2019 ceramic artists from 69 different countries. The exhibition was the premier attraction of the WORLD CERAMIC EXPOSITION 2001 KOREA, a multi-event celebration of historical and contemporary ceramic art from around the world.

Sixth Taiwan Golden Ceramics Awards, 2000
"Celery Green Reassembled Hollow Ring Functional Teapot"
The Golden Ceramics Awards Competition has been held in Taiwan every other year since 1992. For the "Sixth Taiwan Golden Ceramics Awards," the sponsors decided to open up the competition to international ceramic artists, as this exhibition was slated to be the inaugural event of the new six-story tall Taipei County Yingko Ceramics Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. Over 1200 entries were submitted by 759 clay artists from 53 countries around the world, from which 151 fired clay artworks were chosen for the exhibition. From the 151 pieces selected, 18 artworks were recognized by the jurors with awards. Taiwanese juror Bob Chen honored Celery Green Reassembled Hollow Ring Teapot" with his "Special Judge's Prize."

Ceramics Monthly International Competition, 1999
"Pink Pentagonal Cross-Section Teapot"
Sponsored by Ceramics Monthly magazine, this competition featured 112 fired clay artworks selected from 1549 entries submitted by clay artists from 45 countries around the world. The Ceramics Monthly International Competition was on exhibit March 15-21, 1999, in Columbus, Ohio, in conjunction with the annual conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA).
